The Athletic Communications office facilitates communication between the athletic department and its external constituents, increases awareness of and interest in Willamette Athletics, and publicizes the activities and accomplishments of the student-athletes and teams.
The office is responsible for updating the athletics website, managing social media, broadcasting, and statistical record keeping. It is charged with department branding, including photography, graphic design, and managing the identity of Willamette Athletics. They handle correspondence with the media, the Northwest Conference, and the NCAA.
Working Media
Credentials are available for any working media member. Please request at least 24 hours in advance (48 hours for football).
Radio
Any visiting radio broadcasts must reserve seating during the week of the scheduled contest and at least 3 days in advance.

Freeby won the Jean Williams Award in 2015 and competed in eight consecutive NCAA Championships (four in cross country and four in track & field)—the only Willamette athlete to do so. In cross country, she placed 8th at the NCAA Championships and won the NWC Individual Championship in 2013 while helping her team secure conference titles in 2013 and 2014. She was the 2013 West Regional Champion and was named West Region Women's Cross Country Athlete of the Year. She earned First Team All-NWC and All-West Region honors multiple times. In track & field, she was a three-time NWC Champion in the 3,000m steeplechase (2012, 2013, 2015) and won the 1,500m NWC title in 2014. She competed in four NCAA Championships for the steeplechase, finishing 4th in 2013 and 2015.
